Abstract

Monuments preservation is considered at the Technical University of Dresden as a speciality not fitting regular courses, but post-graduate courses are offered to to-be specialists. Though, regular studies impart relevant knowledge, e.g. architectural surveying, history and theory of architecture, envrironmental concern, and ideology. Some examples of monuments reconstruction in Dresden are quoted.
