Abstract

The evolvement of the appartement is a historicaI process influenced by the epoch given, by building materials and, first of all, by social requirements. As a consequence of the establishment of the urban life-style, the actually known function of the fIat has taken shape. The apartment is bearing the marks of its designer and customer, as weIl, as long as they are in close relation with practical implementation. The industriaI manufacturing of houses, its producing and building processes, however, fully exclude the possibility of any kind of exclusiveness. It means that the designer alone determines the outlook of the end-product. In our age, requirements towards house manufacturing are increasingly higher and wider, as the production is unable to satisfy the demands. Therefore, present paper deals with the question of variability of fIats arised by social demands, as one of the most important questions of the future.
