There is considerable anxiety due to the rapid spread of the disease and the continuous increase in patients and deaths. <br />It is known that architecture changed significantly in various periods due to similar concerns. The study examines the effect of the COVID-19 process on architecture and provides design suggestions related to shopping centre designs, especially in the Mediterranean climate. The study will examine shopping centres, where users access spaces with many different functions simultaneously, investigating the harmful effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on architecture and propose new solutions by including users in the study. <br />The survey method was used and analysed in the SPSS program. As a result, it is believed that this study will produce architectural solutions to the problems caused by COVID-19 and constitute a source for new research.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Periodica Polytechnica Architecture}, author={Ergün, Ruşen and Kutlu, İzzettin}, year={2022}, pages={57–66} }
