Abstract

Due to an extensive use of vector measurements in the diagnostics of various objects in the technical, biological, chemical and other fields, a need for a high-performance and fiexible instrument - a vector analyzer - has arisen. In the present paper the architecture of vector analyzers based on discrete phase-sensitive demodulation of analog signals in the frequency range of 1 Hz to 1 MHz is considered. The description of some typical experiments from the domain of electronic circuit fault analysis and medical diagnosis is given.

Keywords:

vector analyzer, phase-sensitive demodulation
