Abstract

After a survey of traffic quality significance and possibilities, a method has been suggested for describing the traffic quality, partly as a comprehensive description from several aspects, and partly, as a simplified evaluation method. Speed test and traffic safety test methods have been developed, in cooperation between the Traffic Institute of the University of Karlsruhe, and the Department of Road Engineering, Technical University, Budapest.
