EFFECT OF TUNING THE SECOND HARMONIC FREQUENCY ON THE BEHAVIOUR OF GUNN DIODE OSCILLATORS

Abstract

Effect of the second harmonic sinusoide on the Gunn-diode oscillator performance is studied using the Two Input Sinusiode Describing Function. The effects of tuning the second harmonic termination on the generated power at the fundamental frequency on the oscillator stability and on the oscillator tuning characteristic are presented.
