Abstract

Ап oversynchronous asynchronous motor cascade controlled from the flux. In contrast to the subsynchronous cascades, in this case а three-phase thyristor bridge is connected not оп!у to сЬе network of 50 Hz, but to the shiprings, too. Тhе drive under the synchronous speed and braking аbоуе the synchronous speed сап bе realized with the rectifier operation, whi!e drive аbоуе the synchronous speed сап bе rea!ized with the inverter operation of this current converter commutated bу the machine e.m.f. Тhе firing of the motor-side current converter is to bе carried out bу the rotor frequency varying with the rotor speed. То remove difficulties опе is to арр!у the so-called se!f-contro! i.e. to use оnе of the rotor signa!s fог firing the thyristors. This рарег describes оnе of the most advantageous ways of se!f-control, that with firing fгоm the flux. Shown аге the factua! realization and the approximate calcu!ation of steady-state. Ап account is given about the resu!ts of measurements. Determined аге the commutational !imits as well as the range in the vicinity ofthe synchronous speed whеге commutation bу the machine e.m.f. cannot be carried out with safety. A different kind of commutation is mentioned, too, which is applicable with great safety just in the above range.
