A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE STEADY-STATE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN THE WINDING DISCS OF OIL-COOLED TRANSFORMERS
Abstract
The calculation of the warming of transformers aims at determining the place and value of the highest operational temperature ("hot-spot" temperature). The present study discusses an analytical method for the approximative determination of the two-dimensional temperature field in the discs of a given winding by means of matrix equations in the case of boundary conditions of the 3rd kind.
