Thetransplantation of conventional chip removal processes into the micrometerscale dimensionsshows a very promising alternative for the production in small and mediumlot sizes. Out ofthese methods milling offers the most variable machining possibility.During my micromillingresearches I tried to find the optimal process parameters for the machiningof two differentmetallic materials with hard metal end mill, and I examined the surface andthe geometric quality of the machined structures.
