THE CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF 1-p-CRESOXYSILATRANE, C13H19NO4Si

Abstract

The crystal structure of 1-p-cresoxysilatrane (p-CH3C6H4OSi(OCH2CH2)3N) has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The Si ← N dative bond length is 2.107(2) Å, which is 0.062 Å shorter than in the p-tolyl derivative because of the presence of apical oxigen atom.
