IR SPECTROSCOPIC INVESTIGATION OF THE GARNET MATERIALS USED IN THE MICROWAVE ELECTRONICS

Abstract

For the possible application of the IR spectroscopy in the production and research of magnetic materials based on YIG (yttrium-iron garnet) IR spectra of YIG and substituted YIG crystals were investigated and also the formation of polycrystalline YIG from 3Y2O3 : 5Fe2O3 powder mixture at different temperatures.
