Abstract

The solution of different scientific and technical tasks needs the precise synchronisation of clocks and timescales. A very precise comparison of times is possible by using the NAVSTAR- GPS system. Author gives a synthetized review of the basic method and the developed technics of the time comparison by GPS being in development. He gives estimations on the foreseen reliability.
