Abstract

In industrial projects, often outside features hamper making image pairs overlapping to 60% of the construction to be evaluated. Calculation of the relative orientation of image pairs little overlapping is either inaccurate or unfeasible. According to the method to be described, inner orientation of images is made in a coordinate system parallel to the absolute (geodesic) co ordinate system. Thereby the relative orientation is bypassed to calculate directly in the absolute co ordinate system. This method involves spatial resection of both images. By me ans of the determined outer data, inner orientation in the absolute system can be point-wise calculated, and so can be anormal arrangement of images where coordinates of the structure points can be simply calculated in a single step.
