Abstract

In hydraulic power transmission, up to a reasonable output limit, throttled hydrostatic transmissions are preferred. Although transmission can be changed here only at significant losses, they are likely to be economical because of simple construction. Relying on the derivative characteristic of the transmission stiffness, analysis of load-dependent behaviour of various throttled hydrostatic drives is presented.
