Abstract

In this paper we are dealing with the problem of shape optimisation of three dimensional machine parts with free surfaces. Briefly the optimisation methods are classified and for the further research the method of Sequential Quadratic Programming was chosen and more detailed described. This paper concentrates to the evaluation of structural responses and their gradients with the Boundary Element method. Hereby there is necessary to use special numerical techniques for the direct evaluation of the present higher order singular integrals. In the following the numerical methods for sensitivity analysis are shown. More detailed the methods built in our optimisation program system are discussed. In the end there are shown the optimum results of a simple testproblem getting with different sensitivity analysis.
