Abstract

A flexible service policy is required for micro-electronic devices due to extremly short developing periods. The adjustment of a service technology is best interpreted and controlled by quantitative and qualitative supervision of reliability. The attached paper introduces a simple but efficient reliability service model with examples. It can be transferred to other microelectronically controlled systems. The examples are a type writer (small system) and a picture processing system (big system).
