Financial conditions of enterprise restructuring

Abstract

The first part of the study gives a review of the overall performance of the Hungarian industry in the late 1990's. The overall figures are favourable, but the autput and export growth rate data indicate wide variations by ownership structure of companies. The study separates categories of companies by dynamism of restructuring, analyses the reasons, why the foreign ownership is contributing to the quick recover. The second part of the study analyses the present state of the financial processes of companies, focusing os cash management, capital structure and divided policy of the small and medium size companies.
