Focus and Scope
The main scope of the journal is to publish original research articles in the wide field of electrical engineering and informatics fitting into one of the following five Sections of the Journal: (i) Communication systems, networks and technology, (ii) Computer science and information theory, (iii) Control, signal processing and signal analysis, medical applications, (iv) Components, Microelectronics and Material Sciences, (v) Power engineering and mechatronics, (vi) Mobile Software, Internet of Things and Wearable Devices, (vii) Solid-state lighting and (viii) Vehicular Technology (land, airborne, and maritime mobile services; automotive, radar systems; antennas and radio wave propagation). The journal is abstracted by several international databases, see the main page. We also aim at being referred in the future by Web of Science, and thus to have an impact factor.
The strict peer reviewing and editing process is short, the publication may appear in average within 4 months in the journal’s “Online First” page after submission of the manuscript. The journal is electronically published, and a few copies are printed and sent to main libraries in the world.
This is a diamond open access journal: publishing and downloading articles are both free of charge. The journal does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs), submission, or publication fees. Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of these articles.
The journal is recommended to researchers, faculty professors, and PhD students active in its field.
