Abstract

During the development of transport, all transport modes became more or less interna- tional (water, air, rail road) but the borders and the different customs and traffic regu- lations caused difficulties. The globalization of production, the world economic resource management need more cooperation in transport with logistics concept. In Europe more countries will join the EU. The precondition of entry is the common regulation beside lib- eralization and deregulation as basic concept. In transport customs, currency, manpower, tax, technical parameters, traffie and environmental protection are the most important fields of harmonization. The transport modes will have different importance in the future because of efficiency.
