Abstract

Authors have developed a nonlinear pipe element for MMG Co. Ltd who is owner of several patents pending of flow meters in order to take into account the Coriolis forces produced by the flow of fluids in vibrating pipes. The aim of the development is to improve the construction of existing Coriforce flow metals where the measuring method is based on the presence of Coriolis forces which are in linear relation with the mass flow in pipes. The paper discusses the modelling aspects and shows industrial example as well.
