EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTS OF THE TIME FACTOR IN PASSENGER TRAFFIC

Abstract

Demands on passenger transport is also influenced by time factors. The usability of time must he taken into consideration when evaluating the time factor in passenger transport. The value of the time during working hours can he approximated on the basis of the national income and the number of those who produce it. To determine the value of time saved during free time the national income and the number of consumers can be used. This paper calculates the average value of the working hours and free time. This article determines the transport supply functions by transport means add branches according to income, activity and settlement categories and the traffic demand function for 28 categorics as the quotient of spare time and t;avelling time. A model for the computer analysis of the effects of the time factors is created.
